Any updates on the bed?

Heck no, we got incredibly busy so since posting I’ve been using it as is when I need to. I did some plumbing work the other day on a water trough, it was awesome having the bed to work off of!

On the motor maintenance question, we went back and forth dozens of times on if we would make the bed tilt or not. My personal wants and needs on this bed are a) tool storage and b) a receiver that can handle a little weight. The toolbox up front would be getting flipped almost 90 degrees if we left it to tilt. Also, with the receiver I incorporated into the tailboard, I had to reinforce it back down to the factory receiver. So for this bed, we will have to just pull the 5 bolts and lift it off the ranger when it’s time to change oil.
