it's not a red wolf or a coyote all the coyotes around here have a lot of red wolf blood in them. right here in south east texas was the last place (not counting that pack they found on Galveston island)where there were red wolves up to the 1970's thats not that long ago. I've killed a bunch around here that weighed 60-70 pounds that's not pure coyotes.

I would guess around 10 yards maybe slightly further
