    Axis Mounts

Looking for some ideas for an axis mount. I have a couple being mounted now on the Jetz AX44 and 43 forms, which shows a pretty big section of mid-body, seeing what else is out there that looks good. Thanks in advance!

Straight out - slight turn. Wall pedestals are lame

I've not yet shot an axis. It's high on my list. Black buck, fallow are down. But I need several more fallow's and an axis. I will say Fallow are like whitetail to me, not sure I could get tired of killing them.

Not the best angle but here is a “Lame” wall pedestal mount.

Here's my "lame" wall pedestal mount. I think it turned out pretty dang good and compliments the beautiful axis hide really well. Compliments to Hills of Texas Taxidermy in Llano for a job well done.

This will be my next axis mount. This one and my avatar pic are by far the best axis forms in my opinion.

Yet again. You’re a moron. You just don’t want to pay for quality taxidermy.

I’m in the same boat. Got one big axis are the taxi and hoping to add a second soon. I don’t like the long too and the step downs of the AX44. Thinking of having it smoothed out and running the side evenly. Post up what you decide.
