    lake dunlap fishing

Ill be staying on lake dunlap next weekend, looks like we'll be right across the river from clear springs cafe

looking for bass and catfish advice from a dock

baits, depths.... any tips and tricks

I'm a big fam of both and will probably have a couple lines out for cats while I bass fish

worth throwing a couple jug lines out over night?

    thanks green screen

I lived on the lake for 20 years. Can't go wrong with a 10" Red Shad worm

            Yup

I haven't personally caught them in Dunlap but I've seen them floating up dead and talked to some guys that targeted them exclusively in the lake.

How’s the catfish report? Thinking of running some jugs out there soon.

I live on Dunlap and last weekend couldn't get a cat to bite but caught some bass in the pads on the Clear Springs side of the lake on red shad worms. Had to peg the weight so you could feel them.

Seems like the red shad is a must
Are y’all bouncing those around docks and grass?
                      Fast/Slow?

Lily pads and boat docks. I used to fish from Clear Spring to the dam, both sides. Would not fish up towards IH 35 cause of the boat traffic. Be careful on left side of lake past CS all the way to dam, lots of stumps. The river channel is on opposite side of lake. Like said before.....red shad worm

I caught 8 good blues out of lake placid last night which is just sourh of Dunlap. We have been getting them on cut shad mostly in 8-14’ of water on jugs.
