I’ve never been one to put much stock into “Hallmark holidays” and from the very beginning I’ve told my husband, “You don’t need to do anything special, like take me out to dinner, and, for the love of all that is holy, do NOT buy me any gifts!” So, m husband woke me up this morning and told me he was hungry, so I got up and made him breakfast like I do every other Sunday of the year.

It was just another Sunday in Paradise, but you’d think that on Mother’s Day, of all days, he’d let me sleep in!

As my husband is fond of reminding me, every day is Mother’s Day in our house and I’ll admit this is probably true.

Wish i had a Mama to cook for. Lost my Mom in 2019 and the Wife lost hers years ago! Wife and I have no kids or dogs right now, so we are lacking big time.

For those of you that have your Moms or MIL's, cherish the time you have with them!

Not for mom, but we ate well tonight. I cooked one slab on my PK and one on my BGE.
