It all depends on how you use the card and what reward you would like.

I like using www.nerdwallet.com when I am comparing cards.

My wife just got one with WF that gives back 2% on all purchases. $30k limit.

I'm not going to say mine is the best, but I just got it set up to where I get a text when I buy something on it asking if I'd like to use reward points and not have the item hit the bill. That's really going to come in handy!~

This. I just used their comparisons to help narrow down my search a few months back.

According to the nerdwallet, WF was my best option @2% cash back on material purchases

AMEX Platinum. Customer service has always been exceptional with AMEX. On the surface, it's flat out expensive with a ~$600 annual fee but there are alot of benefits that offset the annual fee:

                  - $200 airline incidental (luggage fees, Wifi, food)
                  - $15/mo in Uber or uber eats Credits
                  - $20/mo in Sirius XM credits
                  - $10/mo credit for charging your cell phone bill to your CC
                  - Global Entry/ TSA precheck
                  - Clear subscription
                  - $50 per 6 months to be used at Saks Fifth
                  - $800 reimbursement for cracked screen replacements (not sure if this only applies to personal rather than business)
                  - Extended 1 yr warranties on some purchases
                  - Access to AMEX centurion lounges

I'm sure there are more benefits but those are the big ones. I definitely feel like I get the value out of the card. Could always use some referral bonuses if anyone wants to sign up.

I'm still with Chase Freedom Unlimited or somesuch. I pay attention to the 5% categories and shop accordingly. I stay around 3% back.

                          Also watch the annual fees.

Been very happy with Chase Sapphire for years. Builds points to redeem for whatever you want. Recently redeemed a pay yourself back for a decent chunk of money that paid for an entire vacation and credit towards the monthly balance. We pay it off every month and its been good to us in rewards. They run specials every month or so for double and triple points as well. Its paid us back thousands for a yearly $95 fee.
