    new respect for arrow power ...

    or whatever you want to call it ... power, speed, energy, etc. I missed my target once this evening because I flinched, glad I put up this 1/2" MDF backup.

    I'm impressed. This is a field-tip @ 30 yds.

    That's mild 3/4 steel tubing at 60yds. The fletchings kept it from passing through.

      Yep, these are from toys. The down range momentum of todays set ups are bad to the bone.....and beyond!

        When I first started bow hunting I shot a Diamond Iceman FLX, with a 390 grain arrow it was shooting around 260 fps

        First deer i shot with it, passed completely thru it at 17 yards, hit the feeder leg and careened off into the sunset. Never did find the arrow, but it did travel farther than the deer did
