    Would this work

Not really wanting to do a feeder pen. Has anyone just fenced in a feeder and had it throw corn out. Would like to enclose it so the cows don't tear it up and allow the corn to be thrown out of enclosure. The cows will not be in the area during the season or a month prior to it but I don't want to have to remove the feeder for the other 8-9 months.

Just drive t post around the legs use wire to secure them or u-bolts work also.

Unless the cows aren't being fed enough and starving you should be fine just driving rebar or t-posts and securing each leg. We don't have pens on our lease in Schleicher County and the cows seldom mess with our setups.
