    Her first Flounder

Well I was trying to get my son on a Texas STAR tournament sized flounder and my girlfriend caught it instead.

Anyone consider this a saddle blanket?

This was Port A. I look for dropoffs, guts, and cuts to flats from channels.

                      That’s awesome!

We found them last week also in PM.
Caught 15 and lost another 10-12 trying to get them in the net. All were 16-21”

They can make some water move at the surface and are a blast to catch

Any flounder over 20" are giants. When I lived in Bay City and fished Matagorda all the time, we would fish the deep water around tie up pilings in Oct-Dec. Big silver and black Cocahoe minnows bounced right up against them. My personal best is 26" and 8.5#
