    Day Pack Recommendations

Looking for a new pack a little larger than my badlands 1500cu. I like pockets for gear that doesnt get lost down in the bottom, and of course tie down straps.

Quiet material and good zippers are a must. $150 budget.

Saw some good deals on Tenzing, but their reviews look like their quality is going down.

    What ya got.

My day pack is an EXO 2000 size. It has all the requirements you are wanting, except budget wise. I picked up the bag used and just strapped it to my frame I already owned. Plus with having a frame you can strap just about anything you want to to carry. I picked up the bag used for 160$.

Check out the kelty redwing. Marketed towards hikers but it's available in all black and a great pack for $100 at REI. I have an older one in tan and it's served me well.

How does the Sitka Fanatic hold up to damp/wet conditions with that material?

                          Day Pack Recommendations

I like my Alpz Outdoorz Pursuit for everyday use and bow hunting. Smaller front compartment unzips and turns into an shelf when hanging in the tree...
Lightweight, well built and 2700 cu in.
                          $100

I have owned several of the ones mentioned, including Badlands. I prefer my Horn Hunter Main Beam and I have beat the heck out of it.

I also like their Bino system better than any of the other 5 brands I have owned.
