There are 3 timeframes in this equation. If he does before the Electoral College vote in Dec the DNC can name a new candidate, presumably Kamala. The EC can vote and accept this change. Second, If he does after the EC vote, Congress has the option to reject the results from any state, and both chambers must agree. But no way Pelosi rejects anything in favor of trump. And 3rd if occurs after congressional certification, but before inauguration, it’s still Kamala.

I’m not sure they’re planning to knock him off. I think they may give him some time in and he comes down with Alzheimer’s or something else making him “unfit”. But I don’t believe they actually plan to keep Joe Biden in two full terms and leave office at 86.He already doesn’t know where he is most of the time. I also think in general the average democrat voter probably didn’t consider that.Comment
