    A little hog control

Well I sat in the stand yesterday I only took 4 shells with me I didn’t figure I’d see much but I had quite a few animals come out. I had an Axis buck small one and a nice 8 point that was outside his ears a couple of inches. Feeder went off at 6pm and I had a nubbin Axis come out they all fed for about 45 minutes then looked up and walked away really quick I looked up and saw a bunch of piglets coming down the hill.

They all ran straight to the feeder and then the sow came out I waited for her to turn broadside put it in the ear and she went down, I figured all the piglets would be gone but they came back so I shot one then two and missed one. So now I’m out of bullets and they kept coming back I drove up to them and got within 10 yards then they finally ran off. Here is a picture of them.

That's some tender meat. Cook it well to kill off the parasites though.

I call the little ones with the racing stripes "hamlets"...rear legs off those are the most tender and best tasting pork ever.

Man that .204 did the trick.

Looks like you stuck a grenade up it’s keester & pulled the pin.

The 204 is a great gun for pigs and coyotes. Thanks
