Alright I’m in for 40 also. Says I got 128. Sound right ? Guy at the desk next to me made 50k on bitcoin. I’ve spent more on dumber things.

When the GameStop stuff was happening, there were tons of posts/comments on Instagram about taking Doge to the moon. I felt like I should probably get some but I seem to remember it being a little more complicated to setup a cryptocurrency acct then. Donít think you could buy on robinhood but could be wrong. Anyway, I didnít buy any and feel like an idiot now.

You will have another chance, It's dropping now and if it gets below 0.10 I'm loading up on it. and this time I'm not selling. I got in a 0.08 for 6000 shares back in Feb and watched it drop for months when if got back to 0.08 I sold thinking it could drop back down.

Uphold is a pretty easy platform to get set up on and fund through a debit card.

Whatís the downside to Uphold? Looks like it basically costs nothing, which means the userís personal info is almost always their commodity.

If you look at the purchase price or sell price of each crypto, you'll see that take a percentage. No free lunch.

Also, DO NOT use a credit card for purchasing crypto, your CC company will consider it a cash advance and you get hit with a pretty good fee.

I'm an absolute newbie to these things. I bought $50 in Doge late last night.

Anybody have input? I see y'all talking about this buy when low, hold whatever. Should I get more? What do y'all use to make decisions on these things?

Given that it's at an all time high, you're not buying when it's low...

I bought when it was the low low!! The percentage gains are what to watch from what Iíve learned. My thoughts are buy whole ethereum if you have the cash or whole Bitcoin if youíre rich 😳 Iíll shamelessly throw this up here if you want to join Robinhood. ďJoin Robinhood with my link and we'll both get free stock 🤝Ē https://join.robinhood.com/jamesw-4fd65da HOWEVER! I think voyager is the better way to trade cryptos but itís only cryptos and you can get VEchain on it

Here’s a voyager invite with perks “I'm inviting you to start investing in crypto with Voyager. Download the app and trade $100 to get $25 of free Bitcoin.”

A cryptocurrency that can be increased/diluted at any time. A currency that was started as a joke.

Now I am no Bitcoin fan but the number of bitcoins are finite. They are even decreasing as people loose their hard drives or die without giving relatives the passwords.

IMHO if your going to do doge coin don't go crazy on it.

Been fun so far. I have about 30K coins and most at .05. Bought a couple dips once it ran up too. With Musk, Cuban (Mavericks taking DOGE for payments), Redditt crew and others getting into crypto and the whole DOGE craze, etc...they could certainly give a run to $1 or more...who knows. I'm gonna HOLD for awhile as I have way bigger investments on other cryptos so this was play money that has made a really nice profit in a very short time

For those of you contemplating getting in now, I think itís still early in the grand scheme of things.
The Robinhood app is by far the easiest platform to sign up and navigate IMO. While they donít do a lot of deep diving in terms of research for certain stocks their app updates quotes and pricing extremely fast and is extremely easy and simple to use. A great way for newcomers to investing that want to dabble in smaller quantities to start off with.

Iíll shamelessly throw my link out there too. Below is a link you can use where we'll both get a free stock

Thanks brother....for anyone that uses your link to sign up you get 3 free stocks and they get 1 free for joining Robinhood. Hopefully you found it easy to get access and join? It's really easy to navigate the site IMO. Much easier than Gemini and/or Coinbase and you can trade both stocks and crypto.

Here are the 3 free stocks I got when you signed up...thanks again.

Therein lies the rub....couldnít really tell ya brother. I didnít get in until Friday and bought $1K @ 30 cents which is about where it is now. You could roll the dice and see if it dips lower like it did yesterday. Then again, it might not?

Thatís my dilemma. Bought on a market order yesterday and had a limit order filled last night when it dipped down a bit. Itís all a gamble really, so I figure at least buy in what you can gamble away then hold for a steep drop to buy a little more. I donít day trade so this is just something to hold and see what happens with it. From everything Iíve ready/watched on it there is a general consensus that the possibility of doge hitting $1 is very real. I doubt it makes it much higher than $1 but at the off chance it goes wild itís a cheap long shot.

A lot of people in from 0.30-0.42, so if it gets to 0.38 0.40 again there may be a big sell off.

I hear ya man....I wasn’t crazy about inputting that data myself but my future SIL and daughter have been using it for awhile and talked me through it.
Here’s a link to an independent review. It’s been around since 2015 and I feel it’s legit...like other stockbrokers, Robinhood is regulated by the SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission).

Thank you brother.
Yessir, just like with any stock or crypto purchase....there are risks. The reality is, itís like gambling. I have personally been very, very lucky and tend to ďbuyĒ at the right time. My challenge is Iíve struggled on ďwhen to sellĒ. I tend to get lazy and hold on, thinking long term investments. Smarter folks probably make more trades, cashing out on profits when UP and reinvesting some of the gains on the DOWNs.
My financial advisor tells me Iím the worst kind of client because I watch it too close.

I, too, drank the kool aid yesterday and signed up for Robinhood using TexasProud11's link. Hopefully he got his free stock. If anybody wants to help me out (while simultaneously helping yourself out), here's my link: https://join.robinhood.com/samuelh-39e5a8

I haven't bought any Dogecoin yet. I put in a limit order for $0.20, hoping for a dip. It's so unpredictable, it's hard to know what to do. It got down to $0.26 last night, but now it's back up. It may never dip that low again, at least not for a long time. But you just never know. Congratulations to any of you who got in when it was less than 10 cents, and a HUGE congratulations to those of you who got in when it was below a penny.

I have some Dogecoin also. If someone wants to sign up on Robinhood, feel free to use my referral link for a free stock: https://join.robinhood.com/kylew-e3c96e6c

Using robinhood, when buying and/or selling dogecoin, are there any fees or commissions involved?
