    Blue point bench grinder

Was given this by a buddy today. Seems to run good. Can’t seem to really find anything on the google. Looks to be model BG333A. Anyone know anything about them?

    Snap On brand electric tools.
Pretty high quality I would assume.

Heavy duty grinder. What are you wanting to know. If it runs, use it

It’s been sitting in a barn for some time. I have checked for dirt dobbers and such, but wondering if I should do any other maintenance.

Good grinder but I would move the gas and place it somewhere else.

Haha. Thanks for the info. I just set it there for the picture when I brought it in.

I think most bench grinders run better on the 40:1.

That should be a good one.

Run it and if she runs without a bunch of noise or chatter, grind away

It is electric. Do not use the gas.

Run it until it quits, then fix it.

This will probably happen about the time your grandkids retire.

Get a wheel dresser and fix up that stone

Blue Point is Snap-On’s cheaper line of tools. Doesn’t mean squat here though as. Either of them make electric grinders. It’s probably made by Baldor and will last longer than you will.

I know quite a bit about them. Flip the switch, grind stuff, keep fingers out of the way. [emoji23]

It is a bench grinder. Turn it on. If it spins grind things. If it does not spin try to fix or throw away. Change grinding wheels or brushes as needed. I’m not sure what else you can do with a bench grinder.
