Rattlesnakes are out

A couple of weeks ago we took a trip to Brady to see the Solders Water Hole, and my 13 yr daughter had to climb to the top of the rocks. I mentioned to her looks like rattle snake area and on the top on the climb we saw the biggest rattler I've even seen. Got away from us before I could get pic and my pistol lol. Then a few days ago while checking the hog traps we ran into this guy here in Dublin. Little over 5 ft and fat. Glock 27 did its job.

Tonight in SA My friend opened her door and heard a snake rattle, slammed it, and caught the snake in the door. Her 3 dogs were outside. Mini dashshound got bit in the snout. At the emergency vet right now trying to save it. No good. Be careful out there.

Killed one in the ranch shop yesterday. I walked right past it 2-3 times before it rattled. They are definitely out.
