Anyone bass fish the last 3 days?

I did but it was at lake Ray Hubbard, did ok on the whites and crappie.

River flow is almost back down to where I like it. Cats should be schooled up and moving in soon. Sandies should be ready to move back into the lake. But you can catch those anyplace where there is moving water, any time of the year. Crappie should be finishing up on beds waiting for the bass to run them off over the next month.

We hit Whitney on Thursday got into whites immediately put a few good ones in live we’ll then moved in to bass. Couldn’t find a bite shallow at all. The few we caught were near the mouths of the channels. Fought the wind after about 9:30-10 so those areas were hard to fish.

I was gonna go today. Even bought 3 doz minners Fridey hoping to go Saturday. Then realized I had to get a new rim for the car. And a few other matters for Sat. That put me for today. Got up late, intermitten rain, and wind slowly picking up past my comfort level by 1. So I just found other things to take care of. As for the minners, I'ma bout to start assyble-n a bait tank. Had one years ago. So i don't have to worry about have-n minners or perch on hand.
