Default 2020 Whitetail LDP Thread!

Post them up!

This has to be the prettiest deer my family have ever grown/shot in all of our years of hunting. Pretty much the perfect whitetail in my mind!

My brother was able to shoot this guy with his bow back in early November on our Utopia, TX property. It took 13 sits to finally lay eyes on him and get an arrow in him. I donít have the scoresheet in front of me but I believe he was right around 211Ē. I hope everyone had a good season.

Figured with the season ending it would be a good time to post up and have everyone share their pics.

You got that right! Dave killed several animals over the years on this ranch! I tend to agree he was certainly smiling down on that one!

I have A BUNCH of game cam pictures of this buck from the last three years, but the evening of October 1st was the first time I ever saw him in person. Heís at least 6.5 and the fourth buck over 170 Iíve taken off our OK place since 2004 and the first over 180. He has 19 scoreable points and weighed a little over 280 (live weight).

2020 Season was epic again
4 Different Species
3 Exotic & 1 WT BUCK (Sambar Stag, Axis Buck, Bull Nilgai)
2 Rifle(Sambar/Axis)
2 Archery(Nilgai/Buck)
All from public land
I feel confident in saying thats a 1st for the combination of animals to ever be taken on public hunts, and will probably be the only for a long time.
**Add a couple more sambar stags assists(Dad&Bro)
Add 1 WT buck public assist(dropped a pin for a buddy that had never set foot on that piece of public, he killed a mature 11pt first evening)

Me and my sons mule deer from opening morning shot about an hour apart. Definitely a hunt I will never forget.

Also my dads buck from this year. I was sitting in the stand with him that morning. We havenít hunted together in the same stand like that since I was in my late teens. Need to do more of it going forward while we still can

Fun thread, and some awesome animals posted so far. We had a pretty good year, hereís the deer we took.
My son got his first deer, a nice spike. He tried for a management 8 later, but it wouldnít cooperate.

Late season, my uncle and I both scored on nice 8ís the same morning. Iím working on a euro for mine, heíll go 130Ē or so, and is a little over 19Ē inside. My uncles was a Lifetime buck, one we were all chasing for the last 2 years. Heís going to tape out very close to 160Ē, Iíll get an official score once he picks up the skull from the taxi. Huge mass, 18Ē spread and length for days.

My buck

Uncís buck

Both together.
