Yup, I see Trey Sermon going out the first offensive play of the game with an apparent collar bone/shoulder injury. All diagnostic testing will be negative. Odd prediction, but I am stepping out on a limb. :-)

It depends on the coordinator for position hires. Bo Davis and Terry Joseph are pretty widely respected guys for DL and Safeties. I don't think anyone is gonna fuss too much about them.

Out of the candidates I know about, I'd prefer Ash.

Well, I'm sure there are guys that they would have hired without waiting for Sark, but not any of the guys on the list.

I think he is a more complete back. He has the all around skills to be a volume back, pass catcher, and blocker. I think he meshes with Bijan a little better. Wheaton is a stud, but he is more of a fast dude than a complete tailback. I haven't watched senior tape on either though.

Don't get me wrong, I'd take either guy for Texas. They are two very talented dudes.

So far I think Sark has made some great hires. Think that’s why Herman failed. At least sark starting off better.

Bull****. Herman brought 80% of his UH staff and was criticized for it. Herman sold it on the “continuity” of the staff, but it was some really inexperienced staff.

If Herman had the staff he had this year from the start, he would probably still be the coach.

Poppa Saban has 7 . . I doubt he coaches more than 2 more seasons . . He's 69 yo and has more $$ than he needs . .

Banks is an A+ recruiter and pretty darn good special teams coach. Surprised Sark was able to pull him from Bama. I think that is telling in a very positive way for Sark.

Supposedly Saban is ******. The 2022 class in Texas is severely loaded.

$1 Million per year for Banks. That is pretty crazy for a position coach.

The more Sark talks, I like him. He’s saying all the right words but comes across as humble and authentic but very confident. Almost 200 former Lettermen were on the call.
