He's a great athlete (both baseball and football). He's got some wiggle too, similar to someone who wore #2 a few years back.

The stable of QB's that are going to be on campus are extremely gifted athletes when you consider King, Stowers, and now Weigman.

That is a very good get for the Aggies. I think Weigman is the best prospect of those three.

2021 3-star out of Cali Cole Lourd commits to Texas. His grandfather was Jim Bob Moffett. That is a very talented PWO get. He got screwed by not having a senior season. He would have had plenty of P5 offers to choose from.

Good get from Sark to get some bodies into the QB room.

We’ve lost some good ones in the past to the MLB draft. Hopefully this kids gives college a try.

Honestly, I wish baseball had to go the college route and in a similar fashion as CFB. I’m selfish because I enjoy the collegiate game better. Lol

I've read Weigman wants to play D1 football, that's his dream.

Obviously 6 figs talk in baseball, but his goal is to play QB

The upside for QBs to have a couple monster seasons and get payed, has blown by the baseball signing bonus prospects for all but the most elite pitchers.

I was hoping the reduction in minor league clubs around the nation would push more elite talent into the college system, but I suppose we'll have to wait for the market to adjust on that.

His family is worth billions. They can afford wherever Cole decides to play. His mom & dad are both from Louisiana. Good get for Texas as I don’t think he’d ever see the field in Baton Rouge

Heath wasn’t trying to “spin it”. I’ve read several reports where Lourd was offered a PWO @ LSU, and he will get a blue shirt at Texas. Regardless, money is not an issue. LSU has 4 scholarship QB’s and the top QB in Louisiana committed for 2022. Lourd has an older brother currently attending Texas and I think his chances of getting PT are better in Austin. Of course we won’t know how this story ends for another 3-4 years. I’m hoping the kid succeeds and lives out his dream

Good. I was hoping he'd come on board. Replacing the OL is a big ask. He's the #6 overall JUCO prospect and #1 offensive tackle. Hopefully he can contribute immediately.

Brennan and or Finley will only stay if they win out as starters. Neither will. Pretty certain we know who the starter will be.

One other target left on the board but I don’t think he leaves Louisiana - WR Brian Thomas. He may announce today. We could use another top end WR in this class.

Poised to take over the number 2 spot in the league from UGA, annually speaking. Legit projection. If Jimbo can find a way to beat Bama, they’ll win a natty.

Whoever signs this kid better have a tight-knit story and seriously cover their azzes on the money trail. Thomas' dad has made it publicly known that he is shopping his son to the highest bidder and it will take $300,000 for Brian Thomas to sign. The old man isn't even hiding it and has bragged about contacting boosters from A&M, LSU, and BAMA. The old man can't keep a secret and is risking getting his son and the sweepstakes winner in trouble because of his mouth. There's a reason why he hasn't signed yet and it has everything to do with the dad.

Finley was told multiple times to ... “protect the ball”. He deserved that arse chewing just like Tyrel Dodson deserved to have his face mask grabbed. Does Jimbo show this video to recruits ?
