I shot this deer 4 years ago. One of the most memorable South Texas bow hunts I’ve ever been on.

I have definitely never seen one quite like that. Seeing more and more “artsy” mounts. I think it’s pretty cool to see what people come up with instead of just a straightforward mount.

Congratulations on a Great deer!!!
It came out really well Good job on the mount!!!

However, it would take some getting used to for me don’t get me wrong it’s a beautiful job I am just more of an GOF and don’t like change

After seeing it on the wall I like it. I was just thinking the other day how all shoulder mounts are the same. This is a great artsy change of pace.

Thats the first whitetail that I've seen like that, I've seen a zebra and a gemsbok. That would look so good in a gun room or mountain cabin. Very nice work

I've been thinking of having something like that done but with quail and habitat work popping out of a picture frame like that.
