I donít see how it would. But, I also didnít figure the dog would have trouble finding it either. There were no guts on the trail or on the arrow. Stranger things have happened, I guess. I happen to think the deer is dead not to far from where the dog kept returning. Itís nasty thick in there, though. I spent a couple of hours flying the drone and walking abound back there during the day today.

Hardcore Hannah and I are back at 7.5 this morning, hoping for a last day opportunity at a buck.

Jeanette is back at Rattlin Hill.

I spent a lot of time in the brush, flying the drone and looking for birds during the day yesterday, but to no avail.

Mary and I switched. I am in 12 and she went to 11. And a big pig just came out. He didn’t stay long. Stayed out at 35 yards.

Missed at 36. Dang thing wouldnít be still. Could see my red nocturnal out there about 75 yards down the fairway, so hopped out of the blind and ran and got it. Used the cover of the rain for stealth. Now my snake boots are like snow shoes.

Back in the blind and reloaded. Come back big dog. Bet I donít miss twice.

Ok, lemme explain. Hereís my excuse and Iím sticking to it:

Ranged him at 30 yards to the right of the feeder. Drew. He moves 15 yards left. Now he is 3 or 4 yards left of the feeder. He moved diagonally away (which I did not realize since I was looking at him through my peep), so I shot 30, he was now at 40. Buzzed his chest hairs.
