Hormel or wolf for the concession stand, white or red diced onions, sour cream, shredded cheese and jalapeños and tapatio or cholula
TommyTamale has tamale pies, it’s a frito pie with a tamale on top and it’s amazing. Think I know what I’m having for lunch tomorrow now |

The old fashion way when is was a kid. Small sliced a package of fritos with grated cheese and wolf brand chili! Ate them all the time at football and basketball games!

Wolf and Hormel Chili in the big cans at any concession stand I have helped with. They are basically the same anyway. So you probably loved Wolf a time or two in your lifetime.. ![]() |

1. Fritos on bottom
2. Next, mild cheddar 3. Next, lettuce and tomatoes 4. Next, FRESH jalapeños cut up 5. Pour chili on top and enjoy It had to be Wolf brand back in the day, but as others have stated, it has gone way down hill. Hormel is better, but need to find something else |

You stole my thunder. Usually Hormel or Wolf brand chili. A hunt I was on back in November keyed me in to the greatness that is substituting flamin hot cheetos for the fritos. Nacho cheese and jalapenos are key to get the ballpark feel though. However, I recently discovered HEB brand Reaper Puffs on a different hunt I was on. They are cheese puffs with Carolina Reaper as the spice and they could be the best "chip" ever made. The last "frito pie" I had, I used these and it was even better than the cheetos....
