The dry beans would have taken longer to cook than the chili itself & tasted like rocks...

How many of those who put beans in their chili, do so without using canned precooked beans?
They also used dried beef, or beej jerky as their beef. I’m willing to bet you don’t use beef jerky in yours....

All I know is any chili worth its salt makes me really regret it in the morning...

I like beans in my chili and stewed tomatoes in my gumbo. I make and eat what I like and could care less if it's traditional or not just tasty.

Exactly. And their opinions don't mean any more than their stupid rules.

Beef is beef - quality used in chili is irrelevant....

But pair it with the right whiskey & I’d eat beef jerky chili too...

Beans and now put potatoes in my chili. Even eat it on spaghetti, and love hunting fence lines
