Would love for Thomas and Alito to retire so Trump could replace with younger talent....

I know its a position of power, but do you want to working when you are 75 to 80 years old?

You are correct. Maybe he hasn’t given up on his presidential hopes.

              No, Cruz has Presidential aspirations.

I don't know who Trump's "forth" nominee will be but I have a gut feeling it will be on the heels of Roberts's resignation/impeachment.

If Trump wins I'm sure Thomas will retire since he knows he'll be replaced with a like minded justice (assuming R's hold the Senate). I don't see Breyer making it through another 4 years......That would make it 7-2.

He may as well be a liberal. He was all in to shut down the country over covid and he's done nothing to stand for conservative values.
He's a go along to get along jackass. I wouldn't vote for him if he was the only one on the ballot.

That really surprises me. It seems like you may have him confused with Greg Abbott. How can the guy that introduced term limits be liberal?

I think it's easy to look good introducing something that you know won't pass and hurt your chances of being a career on the take politician. If he believed in it he'd bow out after two terms.
I won't vote for Abbot either.
