After several tough years at our farm in North Collin County I was fortunate to get a great buck this morning. Had a few pics of him in the last 10 days. No history with him from previous years.
He followed the script unlike most mature bucks and I was lucky he approached a doe into the field close to my stand. The old Strother Infinity and two blade rage did their job. He ran about 50 yards.
Yesterday I was killing time in the stand and tried to score him from the daytime pic. I came up with low 180's. I was surpised when we added it up to 195 7/8.
Approximate measurements are:
Spread 20"
Beams 52"
Mass 46"
Tines 77"
Points 17
He's an archery buck of a lifetime on our family farm. I'm very fortunate and blessed to have this opportunity. Thanks for reading and good luck the rest of the season.
Had trouble posting some pics, will add those later.
