Kinda weird. If you're good enough shot, to shoot'em in the head, just high shoulder shoot one you plan on mounting. Use a suitable caliber and ammo and you'll drop them.

Not a real fan, but kind of cool, if its a trophy pig, why not just shoot it in the shoulder.

Suitable caliber is anything within arms reach.

.223 for instance.
