    Bergara Rifles

Interesting read on Bergara rifle history. Who knew that Ed Shilen had a small hand in their barrel development? https://www.americanrifleman.org/art...-rifle-market/

I wonder what other gun makers are using Bergara barrels and calling them their own?

Just bought a HMR in 300 WM - Im pumped to get it hunt/range ready. They get a good rep - I've always been a rem 700 guy and these seem to be a much better quality option.

I have a HMR in 22-250, my buddy and brother both have the HMR in 6.5 creedmore and all of them shoot exceptionally well.
I was always a Remington guy too, but i think Bergara has my attention now.

I have the same rifle in the SP version (with short barrel) and suppressor and absolutely love it. It’s first kill was a coyote at just over 300 yards. It has since been the lethal demise of many more animals.

I was first introduced to them when I bought a CVA Accura muzzleloader about 15 years ago. That thing is also an absolute tack driver as well.

Got the Premier HMR Pro .300 win mag last month and its been grouping very well at 1/2 MOA. I worked up some Berger 210 VLD Hunting rounds and added a American Precision Gen3 LB. Holding 1/4MOA. Felt recoil has been reduced where it fells like a 6.5CM

I hadn’t heard of them until recently when Hunters Creek Processing started carrying them. All research I’ve done is good. May pick one up next year.

They seem like a very solid production rifle.

I have the 18” with factory muzzle break in 6.5 cm and one of best guns I ever owned, smooth action, nice trigger. Shot coyote in head at 250

I’ve got a ridge sp in 308 also. It’s one of my favorite rifles
