My wife has been battling an autoimmune liver disease for many years. She had a transplant in 07 and things were good. Fast forward to the end of last year, she started rejection again and was placed on the transplant list. We were married in March and things were steady with her. Well, by the grace of God, she got pregnant. The extra hormones actually were helping her levels! The baby has been growing and is about two weeks ahead of where he should be. His due date is April 18th. My wife hasn't been feeling too well the last few days and today at the Ob/Gyn appt., the dr ordered lab work. I was on my way to see my kids in Wichita Falls tonight when the dr called me. She is being admitted to UT Southwestern in Dallas. Her liver levels have spiked way out if normal. They have a specialist team going to try and stabilize her, then take the baby. They say he has to come out before they can really begin to treat her. I'm worried and scared all at the same time. Not sure what is gonna happen.
Thanks for everything
