I knew a guy who bought a whole pallet of long-handled Plumb framing hammers in the early 80's for pretty cheap (weird opportunity that he jumped on). He sold them over a period of about a year or so on ebay in '05 or '06 for about a 600% return.

Hey Big Lee, how about CB radios? In 1974 mostly only truckers had them but by 1975 EVERYBODY had one. May be wrong about those years, but they are in the ballpark.

Yep, I remember when it was dang near impossible to get a speeding ticket on the interstate, (although I managed one), because errrybody had a cb radio !
