What’s up with this Deer in your opinion is it an old deer on the decline? Or just had a rough few months? Great rack for east Texas but his body looks terrible.

I’m going with old. That brisket is looking saggy to me.

Not old. Nose/snout still narrow and skinny, skin on face is still tight and no calloused knees. Definitely a younger sick deer.

It looks like there is something wrong with his lower jaw in that pic. If he can't eat, that's why he is run down. Hope he makes it to opening day. Good luck.

He’s definitely got a growth or something wrong with the lower jaw. I’d shoot him if I saw him personally to help him out!
