Default My wifes first Offshore Kayak trip!

She was only nervous about falling in! She did great! My favorite video so far. I laugh and laugh every time I watch it. After the second day I can understand her concern with going into the water!(flipping a kayak!) I will try and get day2 posted sometime this weekend! Here is day1!

Watch "Took the Wife Offshore Kayak Fishing! She was terrified of flipping!" on YouTube

Great video,it’s been a few years since I paddled out to the rigs.Watching this makes me want to load up and get out there. Those big jacks pull with the best of them.I envy you with your wife going BTB,mine will go anywhere with me but there. She is so afraid of a shark getting her.Congrats to your wife and looking forward to her first shark video.

Had the wife watch the video and she says she will only attempt to fish the bay flats and back waters but never offshore Looks like I need to rent a couple of kayaks and give it a try soon

I don't know which is most impressive....that your wife agreed to go that far out in the ocean in a kayak, or that she handled all of the back seat coaching without getting mad. Both are impressive!

Great video but No, No, No. Never in a million years would I do that. I just flipped my Feel Free in the Angelina River a couple of weeks ago and had enough problems but being 69 years, 11 months didn't help the situation.

Best of luck in the future with that.

The fact you are still doing that at almost 70 makes you a bad *** in my opinion. I can only hope to be able to. Good job!

If your wife is anything like the rest of ours, she is probably an expert the first time out. I know mine seams to be. Lol

I need to buy a kayak as I have some excellent snapper numbers in 6-9 fathoms deep, and close to the beach

She's not always an expert. She often needs and wants help and instruction. She just doesn't like to get it from me.
