We will be back in the bay this Friday and plan to fish all weekend hard! With a couple new cameras I should be able to capture some pretty good video, I hope!

Went out yesterday, water was around 55.3, when we started out. Trout were slow, but we ended up with 7 keepers on soft plastics.

I've still got to finish deer season before I get in the water. But I'll be hard after them around March.

A friend of a friend caught a couple of keeper largemouth bass on the Louisiana shoreline in Sabine today, so that’s not real promising, especially with a lot more fresh water coming over the next two days

We had the Pathfinder out 35 days last year, and hope to equal or exceed that in New Year. Now if we can just up the catch rate, we might be more active on this thread in 2019.

This is old news, just a nice pic to get this year going and everyone motivated..............and of course, a shameless wife brag.

Who else grew up watching Spanish Fly? I fondly remember watching Jose hook up with a tarpon off the Keys and thought that was the kewlest darn thing I had ever seen! Never in my wildest dreams as a kid growing up in east Texas did I ever think I could be fishing in the salt on a regular basis!!!

We should meet up one evening. It is going to be hard work but we have 18 hours of fishing scheduled before heading back home and work. This trip will be focused on San Antonio Bay.

Took the wife to the coast for her first time fishing the flats last year, got her on her first Red. Got her a new rod and reel for Christmas, now that is all she talks about....when are we going back to the coast. She loves to fish, but now she is really fired up about it...gonna make as many trips down as we can this year.

We caught decent in West Bay last weekend if y'all didn't catch the live thread. 7 or 8 trout, and 4 reds. Only one keeper red and one keeper trout though. Dang TX size limits!

I'm very familiar with lots of places from Rockport down to Aransas Pass. Been running a boat in those areas for the past 20yrs.

Be ready as soon as duck season ends. Retired in September so no more trying to time weather. When it is right, load and run.
