    DIY Leather Arm Guard

Anyone have a good pattern and any pointers? I want to make one to give away at the TBOT shoot we're hosting.

I don't have a digital pattern anymore. I have a die used with a press.

I always lined my tooled arm guards with suede pigskin.

I may have one I can donate, new but a few years old.

I definitely won't turn down donations. Contact me so I can pay shipping.

            What Do You Think?

            Here's my first try:

I cut some leather, stamped it and added antler buttons:

            Then taped it off:

            Stained it:

Actually my daughter stained it. When it came time to stain the letters she colored outside the lines. I told her it would be fine but I couldn't overcome her OCD so she made a rectangle:

We had the shoot a couple weeks ago. I appreciate it though. If you contact Wesley Adams, I bet TBOT could use it at the Hill Country Shootout. Text me and I'll give you his number.

All good. I forgot to include my number (if you want to donate to TBOT).
