About 8 miles out of Jasper on highway 62 going towards Zavala. Skeeters are fierce !! I have two thermo cells running and they are still swarming. Acorn trees are dropping acorns all over the place. Good luck to everybody.

Swine still coming to the corn pretty good also...have the deer all off wack...be at it in the morn. Not sure if in Jasper or Newton Counties...flip a coin I reckon.

They were on corn good yesterday out west but not today. The acorns just started dropping here. I figure that this front will knock a lot down.

No luck this evening. I heard some pigs running and grunting through the wood but they did not get close enough. I will be back in the blind in the morning. Good luck and be careful. Will post some tomorrow morning.
