2022 Week 18 First Shot Challenge

Happy May Day Shooters!

Place a 1/4” aim point on whatever medium available.
Place the aim point target below foot level.
Shoot that point from 14 yards.
Measure edge of shaft to center of aim point.
One shot only. First shot only.

Im going to practice today and tomorrow then shoot target Tuesday.

Practicing ahead of time isn't a bad idea. I had a hard time with some of the more extreme angles at the Hill Country shoot and need to work on those. Our place is pretty flat for the most part, but we're thinking we can rig something in a tree, along with building a platform to shoot from.

It is good practice. Im fortunate to have a few washes for some elevation change near my range.

Im hoping to make the Bob Lee Memorial. I wanted to make the Brazos shoot but but….but…excuses. I taught myself archery at the public park archery range off Hwy 6.

Just shot mine today. Arrow is 1-3/8" below center of dot; feet on a patio chair about 10 inches above dot.
