Texas Grown, your not goin to be there but having your steady hand on the planning makes it nice. Thanks.

Here's the updated list.... I ponied up for another 15 lbs of Basa tonight. My Knights of Columbus brothers have payment and will pick up my 30 lbs. manana while I'm busting clays and being corrupt on the Colorado tomorrow.

Fish – GR5 (15 lbs crappie), Pablo(30 lbs basa), double lung (red and trout fillets?),
Oil by gallon– Clint (8.5 gallons for his fryer), Dubai B (2)
Burner fryers (need 8)- Clint (3 basket fryer), Double D (2), Dubai B (1),
LP tanks, hoses, regulators, ect. – Double D, Clint,
Potatoes/Onions – Texastaxi, Luck_of_the_Draw (15 lbs tators),
Potato slicer – Clint,
Prep tables –Reblechild (2)
Cutting boards and knives – Clint (2x4 cutting board)
Finnish/Serving table – Texastaxi (2),
Brown cardboard boxs bottoms for finished fish and tators –
Paper towels for prep/finished fish– Texastaxi (8roll pack),
Batter/crusting/cornmeal/seasonings – Texastaxi (5 lbs of cornmeal and 5 bls self rising flour), Luck_of_the_Draw,
Crusting shakers/tubs – Double D (1), Clint (1),
Large mix-n Bowls- Texwild
EZ-ups – Texwild
Tongs and ladles - Texwild, Reblechild,
Latex Gloves for handel-n food- Texastaxi,
Condiments – Luck_of_the_Draw
[b]Aluminum foil –[b] Luck_of_the_Draw
Thermometers –
Fire Extinguisher- MikeB. (3),
Coolers for keep-n fish warm- Texwild,
Funnel, Pump & filter for used oil-
Hush Puppy stuff - Texastaxi (look at recipe),
Official Team Fish-Head Nibble Tester for 2010- Dale Moser

If push comes to shove, I can bring a single burner fryer w/ oil, propane, thermometers; however, I think a fella from Aggieland was going to try to scare up some more hardware. I'll check in Sunday night and see what's shakin. Don't want to freak my girlfriend out with this "fun" weekend if it becomes a greazy work weekend if you know whats I mean, but if we need more firepower, I'll bring what I have.

1 cup Cornmeal
1 Cup Flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
¾ teaspoon salt
Add and Mix
1 egg
¾ Cup creamed corn
½ cup diced onions

¼ cup Jalapenos (optional)

Drop into 275° oil by the heaping teaspoon and fry till golden brown.

Speaking of shirts ... with all my Nanza prep, I've slipped back into my slackiness days and haven't sent money in for my shirts.

Ashton, can I bring you cash?
We are getting shirts still, right?

Give a man a fish and he eats for a day.
Teach a man to fry fish and he'll drink beer all day at Nanza!

I suspect folk to be kickin around at 8-9 ish. Texas Grown says to be dropping the food in the oil by 9:00 am.

I should be around to cheer Clint and company on with the fryer set-up 8-9 ish.

I don't know who the veterans are . . . I hear Clint's been around for a couple of years, I would think that Taxi is a vet. Maybe those guys can speak to kick-off times.

However the distribution of the T-shirts, I suspect, could be handled later in the morning.

I only have the two, and I need one for Team Texas Wildwood and the Texastaxi roadshow, this year. Will one of my six footers be enough ... if not, can someone bring an extra to make up for my shortcomings ... pun intended!

I'm not sure how I came to be an old timer other than my age. All I've done is help fry fish and taters last year.

I should get there around 9 Am, and I guess we'll wing it from there.

I'll pick up some seasoning tonight.
Kevin, how much flour and corn meal did you get?

"One" is one "n" less than "none", but better than "none". And a "six" is way more than "none" and "five" more than "one" . Bring it if ya got it. If not, hope someone can fill the "void" ~ also known as "none".
