Default Daughter's Boyfriend

Oldest daughters boyfriend wanted some brisket burger. I shot the deer yesterday evening and showed him how to skin, quarter, and bone. Grinding tonight and watching the Cowboys.

Easy brother, he has not been exposed to hunting and our way of life. This is a learning process, once he completes his hunters education I will try to get him on one with a rifle after we shoot at the range.

Good on you for teaching him. You don’t mention how old they are but my wife and I started dating at 15. Been together 20 years. Who knows what will happen but good on you at this point.

Good job Lowe, glad your getting the guy in the outdoors and involved. Blows my mind why people think they have to say stuff like that.

You have to admit it was kind of funny! And I bet all in good fun.

Great to hear when a millennial gets off the phone and gets their hands bloody, good work! Some of our best times have been hunting with 20 somethings on their first hunt, or the look on the face when you have them tugging on skin at the rack. Good times.

Great job taking him under your wing and teaching him the love of the outdoors we all share. I was fortunate enough to have been raised that way. Most people aren’t and don’t understand it. We need new blood in the sport and you sir are doing your part. Thank you.

helluva thing to get killed-over, having a non-symmetrical rack. Lots of women have that problem, and they dont get shot. So this killing is discrimimatory in nature! :-)

Good job. Too many young uns out there without someone to teach them that hunting isn't just killing. Good that he reached out to learn more.

Very cool, and definitely good on you. Believe me, I wish I had a mentor to show me the ropes on everything. Neither my dad, nor my FIL are much of outdoorsmen so I had to kind of learn everything on my own.

If your daughter has a boyfriend that don't hunt then that'd be a girlfriend!

Unless he was the sole heir to 20k acres of south Texas brush!

Just kidding, teaching those who didn't grow up around hunting and fishing is a great way to pass the torch along to future generations! kudos to you sir well done!
