        Depending on the size, it could go under one of the seats, or behind the seats. Just make sure there is plenty of air flow as some of them can get hot. Make sure you also run the proper size wire for the inverter, use oxygen free copper wire and not copper clad aluminum wire, and add a fuse next to the battery as well.

              I've seen them mounted under the hood, usually on the fender on the same side as the battery.

                well then do you that have them just use battery alligator clips in a temporary hook up?
