My comment was to how it looks, and how it is built.

I can't say how well it will work, but judging by the construction of it I suspect quite well.

Not with this one. It's a collector, but I'll have Jerry send me one or two to do some hammering on.

I doubt I will ever get the opportunity to go after anything real big fish wise, but would a plastic, or maybe even a steel drum suffice as an adequate test of their performance ?

There are, but none that would warrant using a head like this on.
