Hannah's First Bow Buck! Video
Hannah has spent many hours over the years inside a blind, successfully arrowing does, hogs and javelina, but she had not yet successfully harvested a buck (previous lease rules dictated shooting hog, then doe, then bucks...She shot a buck two seasons ago but we (and dogs) were unable to find it.) So hopefully you can understand the excitement and emotion of this hunt and recovery! Be sure to watch til the endThis was an exciting hunt from last weekend! (Fortunately Hannah's enthusiasm level increased a bit from the intro to the recovery!
 )

I can’t think of anyone who has worked harder than Hannah to get that first bow buck. The hard work and consistent effort finally paid off of a tremendous trophy. Congratulations on a very well deserved bow buck. A string of good luck was long overdue for you. You certainly put the time in for that one, and executed a perfect shot.

 This is outstanding!! I hope you Dads out there understand how lucky you are & appreciate your kids who share your same passions...my son just never got in to hunting. I think he was just too much of a sports fanatic to give up his weekends growing up. He finally last year (now in his 20's) got into bird hunting & it's been an absolute blessing to see his new enthusiasm. Thanks for sharing Michael...really appreciate the efforts behind the camera work!! Congrats Hannah...been fun watching you grow up!! |
