    Cost of Firewood?

I have quite a few water-tote-sized cages of split dry oak firewood. What is the market price for those?

I know location is a factor so this is south of Houston.

“Quite a few” is a difficult number for someone on here to give you the value of. Firewood sells for $350-$450 a cord around Houston right now

You could stack out a cord and see how many totes it takes to make one

It will be worth a lot more when the next freeze comes. Hold out if you can.

Yeah I didn't mean give me price for all if as a bundle.

price of a cord is what Im looking for, Its not stacked, so I'm guessing each tote is a 1/4.

If you’re estimation is accurate then $100-$125 a tote should sell easily

An IBC tote is 58.5 cu feet. A cord is 128 cu ft. You can sell the tote plus a little more to be 1/2 cord.

Depends on if it's stacked or not. Stacked is 128 cu ft, unstacked is 180 cu ft.

I paid $300 for a stacked cord of split mesquite today. Good looking stuff and I think they gave me a little extra from the looks of it.

My son is getting 210-250 a half cord delivered and stacked near Houston.

Wow!! I’ve been only asking for $200 a cord.
I did see that around Austin it’s going for $400-$500 a cord there

Paying for firewood is like burning money.

Cord of wood is about 2.18 totes. If your going to be selling soon let me know I'd gladly take a few.
