Three people have asked me about my neck size today.

Sadly, I'm not hunting this weekend due to family commitments so I'm not quite as excited about the weather as I should be.

Regardless, it's nice to walk about to the truck at 4 in the morning and it's not 82 degrees.

I’ll go sit in a tree.
Hope the doe will pee.
If I see I big buck.
I hope he runs and dies by my truck.

Technically that is correct. Once they a hard horned they are ready to breed. They just need a receptive doe.

My neck ain’t swellin’, my hocks ain’t black
But I got a deer stand in the woods out back
My food plots are waiting for rain that we lack
But if I see hogs, I’ll cut ‘em no slack

November the fifth is worth waiting for
That morning you can bet I’ll head out the door
With my .280 Rem or my old forty-four
Will it be a big buck, or an old stinky boar ?

Bravo Don, your rhymes are all tight
Should I hunt Saturday morning, I’m thinkin I might
Just got back from lease, I’m coming into season
Punched a lease mate in mouth, for no apparent reason

My bucks have disappeared, but hogs still remain
I trap em and shoot em, they’re driving me insane
I’ll be taking food to camp, they count on me and Billy
The others never bring nothing, I’ll put beans in their Chili

My stomach has been swelling up. I’ll blame it on the cooler weather and deer season
