We are a specialty construction subcontractor and hiring an administrative assistant. Office is in Sugar Land, TX with some work from home opportunities. This will be somewhat of a flex/utility position but main tasks/job description below:
- Data entry/Quickbooks
- Timesheet review
- General bookkeeping
- Maintaining and organizing job folders
- Requesting certificates of insurance
- Permit applications/submittals
- Accounts receivable
Applicant must have a solid grasp/experience in:
- Email correspondence
- Excel
- Customer interaction
- Virtual/remote working.
- Get it done attitude
- Professional demeanor
Preferred Candidates would have:
- Strong knowledge of Texas construction tax requirements
- Strong background in quickbooks and generating reports
- Bilingual in English/Spanish
- Temperament to chase past due invoices
Ideally we are looking for someone WITH previous bookkeeping experience, but not an absolute and I understand compensation/experience may not be the right fit for everyone. Strong typing, organization, and attention to detail are a must.
We have an office locally, as well as Virginia and Florida. There will be a considerable amount of time working with and assisting our business processes manager in Florida via teamviewer, etc. Working remotely is an option once everyone is up to speed.
I have read many great success stories of job placements on TBH. If you or someone you know may be a strong fit, please send resume to dschmalz at contenderfiretx.com
Pay DOE, but $15-$22 is an approximate range. Benefits after 90 days.
Thanks,
Derek
