I thought mine was roundish rectangular until google took a picture of it. But I haven’t had any issues.

    22 panels and a 10’ gate.

There has been multiple threads on this topic, and if you can find them, you can learn a lot. Here’s a few things I remember. First of all are you hunting in OK? I think most of the comments are for Texas terrain. Disclaimers aside, go big. Clear all of the brush in side the pin. South Tx guys have better luck with 65’ diameter, 50’ otherwise. Your two 16’ panel would give you 32’. I would add at least one more 16’ per side. If the pen is too tight, you may only get a few deer in there. I’ll see if I bookmarked that thread, if not I copied a few pictures of some nice pens I’ll pm them.

We've done both, round and square. Don't know that either is better, but size does matter like everything else.

If you plan to use your feeder pen part-time as a hog trap, then make it round. Otherwise for deer it doesn't seem to matter.

I have 14 panels on mine in a rough oval shape. being in Edwards county, you get the posts in where you can
I cut 2 panels short on opposite sides to make it easier for the younger ones to get in and it funnels them to those spots for an easier shot.

I made 2 small gates on the bottom so fawns can get in and ill close them when the pigs get to be an issue.

I like the idea of oval/ round. Keep the info coming.

Thanks for the help guys. Thinking I'll go round/oval ,probably 12-14 panels with a t-post every 8 foot. Thinking about cutting he panels in half. Easier to transport and handle ( if im doing it by myself) Thoughts?
