Texas Tail is pretty local to us, weíve been drinking that lately. But, it might be harder to find. It actually rates higher than the others, and being somewhat local is a big draw for me.

Dripping Springs was our go to until we found the TT. We will still buy this one if we canít get the tail.

Titoís will do in a pinch. Itís by no means ďbadĒ, just our least favorite of the 3.

We drink mostly vodka. I've tried all the Texas ones. It's not like whiskey or tequila. It all tastes like vodka.

1847

Made by Dripping Springs. 21.00 a handle.

They say the difference is DS is made with spring water. 1847 is made with tap water.

I love the taste of bourbons & whiskeys, but I don't like the taste of vodka straight. That being said I drink a LOT more of it, I just mix it with juice. Spec's Lone Star 1835 is what I buy because it's smooth, distilled 6 times, and by the case of (6) with a Spec's card, handles are <$22/ea.

Holy cow, lots of vodka made in Texas. Maybe buy based on what it's made from. You want corn or grain based vodka or fruit based?
