Default Vodka drinkers chime in...

We have a whiskey thread, but whiskey always gives me a headache the next morning regardless of the quantity. Iíve been sampling some various vodkas and Iíll say Iíve really enjoyed the New Amsterdam with a lime wedge. Just curious if there are any Vodka fans on here and whatís your preference.

I buy the cheapest there is! I prefer Titoís, Absolute or Grey Goose but have moved in to the cheap stuff. McCormics or Taaka baby!!

Vodka and poweride zero!

Used to be a deep eddy fan, bough some Titoís based on someones recommendation... tried them side by side and never bought deep eddy again.

I personally think that Titoís is better than grey goose too.

I can't tell the difference in taste, but this one time, at deer camp, I could definitely tell the difference in a $20 bottle of cheap nasty the next morning. I vowed to just pay Mr. Tito from then on.

Not a big fan of Titos. I prefer dripping springs but willing to look at others. Usually mixed with a lacroix after starting Keto. Before it was cranberry juice

Amsterdam and Tonic is one of my go-to's when I'm not drinking scotch, neat

All things equal - I can't tell much of a difference between most Vodka's so I buy Amsterdam or Skyy since they are the nicest of the "cheap" vodkas

Being Keto, my wife slugs the Vodka.

Dripping springs is her go to.
Smirnoff will work in a pinch.

Tito's brought out a "mean lady" we don't dare Beatlejuice back to life again .

Some friends of ours were comparing their high end stuff to our Dripping Springs and low and behold-- the dripping springs smells like rubbing alcohol. Their high end stuff was odor free.

The high end stuff resulted in a headache so it was back to Dripping Springs.......

Burnetts Vodka for the deer lease power drinking mixed with a bottle of water and some flavor of the month Mio ....low cal and hydrating .. $12.99/half gallon/handle with no hangovers.

If I'm just chilling and want to get all high 'fluent its Titos or Dripping Springs with a large splash of cranberry or lemonade.

I've tried many others and I just can't taste enough of a difference to justify spending more than Titos/DS or mixing heavily with higher $$ vodka than Burnetts ....plus the results are the same..
Burnetts is a long time Christoval deer camp favorite so I'm not changing the good luck..

Lone Star 1835. I buy 1.75s by the case @ Spec’s for $21 & change per bottle. My go to is the Salty Dog, but it’s good with most juices.

As much as I think I need to support Texas products none of them, IMO, can compare to Kettle One. Of course if ur gonna pollute it with some mixer go cheap.

For mixed drinks such as screwdrivers or salty dogs I prefer the cheaper vodkas.
Hard to taste the alcohol with the smoother vodkas.
My wife likes grey goose. I dang near have to mix it 3/4 vodka to 1/4 juice when using grey goose. I get drunk too fast that way...Hmmm...Maybe thats why my wife buys it...

I will take a good bourbon, scotch, tequila, or rum over vodka.

Tito’s is the lowest I will go, didn’t like dripping springs ( it gave me a headache) cheap vodka is for college kids and people I don’t like
Kettle one , grey goose, Belvedere, imports stoli
Mixed with lime and soda , if wife has some fresh orange juice “ who drink sunny D or tang “maybe a good screwdriver

P.S
I was reading about Costco Kirkland brand, and was impressed with the distillery’s they’ll contract with
Really good top shelf stuff from famous brands ( Kirkland bourbon is bottled by Jim beam )
The scotch whiskey was pretty decent to
