    Old Bruiser Down! (Angelina Co.)

I’ve had 6 years of history with this buck, he put his right eye out fighting in 2015 so it’s always been easy to identify, even post shedding. It’s been a long game of cat and mouse, he’s slipped past me about 3-4 times over the years with a bow in my hand, but I finally got it done this morning (with the rifle). 8.5 years old, and was developing a pretty severe cataract in his “good” eye, so I’m not sure how much longer he would have made it. A true blessing of a harvest and huge monkey off my back!
