My family is one of the many flood (potential) victims at this time. We we told on Tuesday evening to keep an eye one the Lake Travis water level. Wednesday morning we were told to grab essentials, because the 2 roads leading into the neighborhood will be flooded and we won't have access. Two hrs later we were told to take all you can. We had about 2 hrs, 2 uHauls later we got out 60-70% of stuff. Where its all at, I have no idea at the moment. Just some friends pilled stuff in cars, trucks, and I guess we'll find out later.
If the level hits 705, it will be at our front door. 710 well into the home and 714 (which they are projecting) it will cover the home.
My wife company put us up in a hotel last night. Now I guess it's couch surfing time until we see how high it rises.
