My daughter is 6 and we got her a teal Daisy bb gun. Shes been asking for a gun for 2 years..

Picked up roller skates for her as well and also a pair of roller blades for my 9 year old boy.

Also picked up a basketball goal from wal mart for 85 bucks..

And the girl. They make them in teal and pink. Buy some targets for them as well.


The Zebco is a great one if they have a place to catch perch.

Remote control boat if they have a pond. Trucks for the yard.

Academy and Walmart usually has a cheap starter bow if you want to teach them Archery.

American boys handy book, you can get it at Amazon, I think there's a girls version also, lot of lifeskill/Outdoors type stuff for a boy to learn, the book is about 100 years old!
