    South Plains Archery Membership Banquet

South Plains Archery will have their annual membership banquet on January 21st @ 6:00pm at the Shallowater Community Center.
This is the perfect time to come meet everyone in the club, eat good food and have a chance at winning a door prize.

During this meeting we elect officers for the upcoming archery season and choose a charity organization for the benefit shoot. If you would like to be more involved in the club this is the perfect time to say so.

Everyone is invited to attend, you do not have to be a member and you will not be pressured into joining if you find we aren't the club for you!

Now on to a pressing matter! I need volunteers to help with the banquet.
Please let me know if you are able to bring any of the following items.
    1. Brisket
    2. Beans = Joe
    3. Corn Bread
    4. Potato Salad = Lynn ?
    5. Tea
    6. Lemonaide
    7. Dessert
    8. Paper goods (Plates, cups, plastic ware, napkins, paper towels)
    9. BBQ Sauce, etc....
    10. Anything I might have forgotten

Thanks and I hope to see you all there!

Surprisingly there are a lot of really neat places available. Everyone is checking on terms and fees at this point but I think it will end up good...I'm pretty excited!

Unrelated to the banquet BUT, when we get a new place to shoot I would like to extend the offer of my tractor and implements to help cut lanes, practice area, move dirt, etc. I have a "boomer" 30hp little tractor, 6' rake, box blade, 6' HD brush hog and a plow I made from a buster bar that I can bury 3/4" water line, electric line, etc. Keep me in mind and if we need to I can load it on the trailer and spend a day doing whatever.

Thank you Gary that is awesome.
Bruce and Josh went yesterday to look at one of the places for the shoots...still not sure what terms the guy will set but it could be promising.
